Anthony A. Asher, CEO of the firm, has over 40 years of experience as counsel to multiemployer and municipal benefit funds, associations, and construction, automotive, industrial and manufacturing companies.  He advises and represents clients in labor relations, employee benefit plans (multiemployer and municipal benefit funds), fiduciary responsibility, IRS and DOL audits and employment management. Anthony has been in the forefront in holding service providers responsible and accountable for their services and fees, and has negotiated some of the largest multimillion dollar settlements in the country.

Significant areas of Anthony’s legal practice include representing trade and professional associations, non-profit organizations, and corporate organization, operations and transactions. He counsels manufacturing companies in the construction, automotive and industrial fields.

Anthony appears as a guest speaker before trade and industry groups, including the Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems and the Mechanical Contractors Association.  He is a Fellow of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Association.

Anthony is dedicated to expanding legal services to underserved communities.  His generous donation to his alma mater, the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, enabled the law school to open the George J. Asher Law Clinic Center, dedicated to the memory of his brother and mentor.
