Sheri B. Cataldo is a partner and member of the Board of Directors in the firm of Sullivan, Ward, Asher & Patton, P.C. She has a successful commercial litigation and transactional practice with an emphasis in contract and business litigation. She also has several years of experience in civil appellate practice and procedure.

Ms. Cataldo was an Angell Scholar at the University of Michigan. She was elected to the collegiate academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She has earned the highly coveted Martindale-Hubbell AV rating, the highest rating awarded. Martindale-Hubbell rates attorneys based on experience, reputation among peers and ethical standards, among other attributes. Ms. Cataldo has also received recognition as both a Michigan and National Corporate Counsel, Superlawyer as well as a Fellow in the honorary society Litigation Counsel of America

Ms. Cataldo serves as an arbitrator on the distinguished American Arbitration Association National Roster of Arbitrators. She also represents her firm as the only attorney listed in Michigan by The Select List, a national list of law firms representing life, health and disability insurers based upon evaluations by the insurance industry. Ms. Cataldo is a member of the oldest and most prestigious international organization of attorneys representing corporations and insurers, the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). Membership in the IADC is by invitation only and requires rigorous peer review. In addition to these organizations, Ms. Cataldo is an active member of the Oakland County, Federal and American Bar Associations, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and the Business Law and Litigation Sections of the State Bar of Michigan.

Successfully resolved multiple disputes on behalf of banking associations, real estate commercial ventures, mortgage companies and title companies.
Represented businesses exposed to contractual disputes, unfair competition claims, employment issues and discrimination claims.
Successfully defended federal RICO action involving sale and importation of vehicles from Canada to the United States.

Represented limited partnerships in class action lawsuit against publicly traded corporation resulting in favorable settlement for partnerships.
Represented life, health and disability insurers across the nation.

Participated in numerous alternative dispute resolution settings, including facilitation of owner and manager of multiple assisted living facilities in shareholder dispute.

Participated in settlement and buyout agreement on behalf of public employees trust system invested in real estate operating company.
