Matthew I. Henzi represents businesses, insurers and individuals in litigation arising out of business disputes, employment litigation and personal injury, including ERISA, wrongful discharge, premises liability, product liability and general negligence claims. Mr. Henzi also defends entities sued pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Mr. Henzi has represented clients in all phases of litigation, including administrative hearings, jury trials and before appellate courts.
Mr. Henzi is a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Section on Litigation and the Federal Bar Association.
Since 2003, Mr. Henzi has been appointed to two, consecutive terms on the City of Livonia, Michigan Zoning Board of Appeals. Matt has served his community as Chairman of the ZBA from 2006 - present.
Matt was named by Michigan Superlawyers magazine as a Rising Star for 2008. This designation is given to no more than 2.5% of Michigan attorneys who are 40 years old or less and in practice for 10 years or less.
