Christopher B. McMahon represents design professionals in construction liability matters, including architects, engineers, owners, contractors and land surveyors. His practice extensively involves all facets of litigation and transactional matter, ranging from contract formation to claims for defective workmanship, professional malpractice, breach of contract, lien foreclosure, scheduling/delay claims, and persona injury matters. He successfully litigates matters involving structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical design issues involving major commercial structures, casinos, hospitals, airports, power plants, religious institutions, stadiums, and condominiums. His experience leads him to successfully and efficiently resolve disputes through all courts, mediation, arbitration, case evaluation and facilitation.

Christopher's representation of clients has involved claims throughout the country related to design and person injury matters in excess of $50 million. His Extensive experience resolving claims for personal injury, professional malpractice, defective workmanship, breach of contract, lien foreclosure, bid protests, extra work disputes, delay, disruption and productivity disputes, acceleration claims and post-acceptance building failures.

He is also actively involved in representing clients in the trucking, transportation and automobile negligence matters. He serves as a featured speaker at both construction law and automobile and transportation seminars, and has authored myriad articles in associated trade magazines and publications related to these industries. He has been named as a Michigan Super Lawyer for many years. The Super Lawyer selection process includes peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review and independent research. Only the top 5% of attorneys in Michigan are eligible for consideration.
